The Angola Bird Records Database is compiled and maintained by Richard Dean, with currently more than 42000 records, mostly based on collections held in Museums. One major source of distributional data that needs to be added to this is the specimen collection in Lubango; this is planned for 2008.

We are also working in collaboration with Natural World to bring these records online; click the link below to visit the online database, which is in its early phases.
